Today we will review three new English vocabulary words. Current affairs, Reality TV, and Sitcom. Review the definitions below and then look at the 3 example sentences for each English vocabulary word. After reviewing the information, try to make your own sentences. Then check out all of the other English Vocabulary words. 

ENGLISH VOCABULARY

VOCABULARYDEFINITION
Current Affairs"Events of political or social interest and importance happening in the world at the present time"
Reality TV"Television programs focusing on members of the public living in conditions created especially by the program makers"
Sitcom"A show that is on television regularly and that is about a group of characters who are involved in different funny situations."

CURRENT AFFAIRS

#SENTENCE EXAMPLES
1She doesn’t know much about current affairs.
2He’s not particularly interested in current affairs.
3She has a background in news and current affairs.

REALITY TV

#SENTENCE EXAMPLES
1Do you watch a lot of reality tv?
2What is your favorite reality tv show?
3Is reality tv popular in America?

SITCOM

#SENTENCE EXAMPLES
1What is your favorite sitcom?
2I don’t watch sitcoms anymore.
3Do you like sitcoms more than movies?
