Why did you become an English teacher and how long have you been an English teacher?
- Graduated with a degree in “Human Resources”
- She was just looking for things to do
- Taught kids in China
- Initially, it was just an excuse to travel
- Realized that she was actually good at teaching
- She decided to stay in Dubai for so long because she fell in love with Dubai
Can you tell us about your first teaching experience?
- She was a bit nervous
- She was not prepared
- The kids were 4-5 years old
As a teacher, what have you noticed are the three best qualities of a good English student?
- Have to be dedicated
- Be realistic with their expectations
- Have a positive attitude
- Bonus: Be flexible
Did you ever have a favorite student? Tell us about him/her
- Clicks with certain students more than others
What are the hardest things about teaching English?
- Finding a topic that is applicable to the entire group (During conversation time)
What do you enjoy most about teaching English?
- It’s very fulfilling
- She works with IELTS, Business, and Interview prep
- Seeing their progress
