      1. Speak for five minutes about something that happened today.
      2. Choose simple, everyday topics.
      3. Focus on speaking continuously.
    3. Example:
      1. “This morning I woke up later than usual, so I rushed to the kitchen to make breakfast. While preparing oatmeal, I accidentally spilled some on the counter. It annoyed me at first, but then I laughed because it reminded me how clumsy I can be. Honestly, the whole situation was stressful, but I just went with the flow and didn’t let it ruin my day.”
        1. Vocabulary: clumsy = someone who often drops things or has small accidents
        2. Expression: go with the flow = to relax and accept things as they happen
  2. Describe What You See

    3. Example:
      1. “I’m looking at my coffee mug. It’s a small, white ceramic mug with a blue rim. The design is very minimalistic, and I like it because the handle fits perfectly in my hand. Drinking from it helps me start off on the right foot each morning.”
        1. Vocabulary: minimalistic = simple style with few elements
        2. Expression: start off on the right foot = begin something well

A recent global survey found that 68% of employees report higher job satisfaction when working from home, citing better work-life balance and reduced commute stress. Companies have also noticed benefits, including increased productivity and lower overhead costs. However, experts warn that remote work isn’t without challenges—many workers struggle with isolation and difficulty separating professional and personal life. Organizations are now experimenting with hybrid models to find the right balance between flexibility and connection.”

      2. Summary + Opinion + Personal Connection:
        1. “I recently read an article about how remote work is changing the workplace. The article explained that most employees feel happier working from home because they have a better work-life balance, but some people feel isolated. Personally, I think remote work is revolutionary because it gives people more freedom over their schedules. This really speaks to me because when I study English at home, I can make the most of my time without distractions from commuting or office interruptions.”

          2. Expression: make the most of = use something effectively to get the best results

      2. Explain it step-by-step in English.
      3. Use transition words like “first,” “then,” and “finally.”
    3. Example:
      1. “Let me explain how to send an email. First, you open your email app and click on ‘compose’ to start a new message. Then, you type the recipient’s email address in the ‘To’ field and add a concise subject line that gets straight to the point. Next, you write your message in the body section, making sure it’s clear and polite. Finally, you review everything and click ‘send.’ The whole process is straightforward once you practice it a few times.”
        1. Vocabulary: concise = brief and to the point
