  2. Think in English, not your native language
    1. Train your brain to form ideas in English, so you don’t pause to translate.

      1. Use the 5Ws to describe various situations
      2. Situation – Soccer match
      3. 5Ws + Paragraph
        1. Who: The soccer players on both teams
        2. What: Competing intensely for control of the ball
        3. When: During an active moment of a live match
        4. Where: On the field near the sideline of a professional stadium
        5. Why: Each team is battling for possession to create scoring opportunities and gain a competitive edge in the match

  3. Use “chunking” (memorized phrases) instead of single words

  4. Prepare 3 “go-to responses” for common questions

        5. Riveted – completely fascinated or absorbed by what one is seeing or hearing
