Today we will review two responses to the topic, “Have you ever been abroad?”. We will use the principles that we learned from “The Web” (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3).  Review the examples below and then try to make your own examples for the question. Let’s Speak English!

“When I was a student I was very diligent. I used to get up very early in the morning to study for exams and I would go to the library after class to review the lesson. My goal was to get good grades because I wanted to get a good job in the future.”

EXAMPLE 2

WRITTEN RESPONSE //

“I have never been abroad, but I would like to. I have a plan to go abroad next year with my boyfriend. We both work hard, so we want to take an extended vacation.”
