Today we will review two responses to the topic, “What did you want to be when you were growing up?”. We will use the principles that we learned from “The Web part 1 and “The Web part 2“.  Review the examples below and then try to make your own examples for the question. Let’s Speak English!

“When I was growing up I wanted to be a doctor because my childhood doctor was amazing. He was very helpful, so I wanted to help other people too. I also heard that if I became a doctor I would be able to make lots of money.”

EXAMPLE 2

WRITTEN RESPONSE //

“As a child I always wanted to be a teacher. I really enjoyed learning and my dad was a professor. So, because I loved children, I also wanted to one day be a teacher like him.”
