- Galena, Illinois – Beautiful spot for shopping for antique scenes, beautiful drive in the fall and spring
- “The Chicago Bean” – A really cool piece of art that was created several years back
- Chase bank bought the rights to name a particular park
- They commissioned a piece of art from a well-known artist
- From a certain vantage point you can actually see the entire skyline of the city of Chicago
- You can walk around and underneath it
- “The Sears Tower”
- Was once the tallest building in the country
- “Buckingham fountain”

- Be prepared for a fantastic time with people
- People are welcoming in Illinois
- If you are there, people just think you belong
- Everyone is pretty chill and relaxed
- Consider renting a car (better than public transportation)
- Food – always something to eat. You won’t be disappointed.
- You can always ask for help (People are kind)
