1. Hot Springs

Definition: A spring produced by the emergence of geothermally heated groundwater from the Earth’s crust.

5. Snowcap

Definition: Refers to a covering of snow on the top of a mountain.

6. Tumbleweed

8. Sand Beds

13. Stealth Camp

Definition: Is the practice of camping in a hidden or inconspicuous manner, often to avoid detection or to camp in areas where it might not be officially allowed.

16. Runoff

Definition: Is the movement of water, usually from precipitation, which flows over the ground surface and into bodies of water like streams and rivers.

  2. The farmers implemented new irrigation techniques to minimize harmful runoff into the local waterways.

17. Fatal

Definition: Means causing death or leading to failure or disaster.

18. White Out

Definition: White out (often written as “whiteout”) refers to a weather condition in which visibility and contrast are heavily reduced by snow or sand, making the horizon disappear and all landmarks become indistinguishable. It can also refer to the act of covering up text with white correction fluid.

19. Cranking

24. Distillery

25. Hot Shots

Definition: Informally, people who are very skilled or successful at something; can also refer to show-offs or people who think highly of themselves.
