Example Sentences from Days 13-18
Day 13: Answering a question using the 5Ws
- “When you were in high school, who was your favorite teacher?”
- “What do you do in the evening when you get back home from work?”
- “When was the last time you went on a vacation with your family?”
- “Where would you like to go after you graduate from university?”
- “Why do you think people like to spend time together?”
Day 14: Questions 1-5
Examples with answers:
- “When you were in high school, who was your favorite teacher?”
- “My favorite teacher when I was in high school was my English Literature teacher, Mrs. Smith.”
- “What do you do in the evening when you get back home from work?”
- “When I get back home from work I usually eat a snack and watch television.”
- “When was the last time you went on a vacation with your family?”
- “The last time I went on a vacation with my family was 3 years ago.”
- “Where would you like to go after you graduate from university?”
- “After I graduate from university, I would like to go to a big city in Spain.”
- “Why do you think people like to spend time together?”

Day 15: Questions 6-10

For the question “Who was your favorite teacher?”:
- Short: “Mrs. Smith.”
- Long: “My favorite teacher when I was in high school was my English Literature teacher, Mrs. Smith.”
For the question “What did you do during your vacation?”:
- Short: “I read books.”
- Long: “During my last vacation, I spent time reading books and painting landscapes.”
For the question “Why did you go to the bank?”:
- Short: “To deposit money.”
- Long: “I went to the bank because I needed to deposit some money.”
Intermediate English Vocabulary Words
- Recognize – to identify or acknowledge something or someone
- Example 1: “I immediately recognized my old friend at the reunion.”
- Example 2: “She didn’t recognize the importance of the warning signs.”
- Example 3: “It’s important to recognize different cultural customs when traveling.”
- Concise – expressing much in few words; brief yet comprehensive
- Example 1: “Her concise explanation helped everyone understand the complex topic.”
- Example 2: “The report was concise but contained all the necessary information.”

- Identify – to establish or recognize the identity of someone or something

- Approach – a way of dealing with something or someone
- Example 1: “I think we need a different approach to solving this problem.”

- Various – different from one another; of different kinds
- Example 1: “The store sells various types of bread.”

Advanced English Vocabulary Words
- Recognition – the action of recognizing or acknowledgment of something’s existence or validity
- Example 1: “Her work finally received the recognition it deserved.”
- Example 2: “Facial recognition technology has improved dramatically in recent years.”
- Example 3: “The company gave him recognition for his ten years of service.”
- Comprehensive – including or dealing with all or nearly all elements of something

- Fluency – the ability to express oneself easily and articulately

- Conference – a formal meeting for discussion, exchange of information, or talk

- Authenticity – the quality of being authentic or genuine
